City of Palo Alto Community Diwali Celebration

A joyful community Diwali celebration created in partnership with the City of Palo Alto and Barron Park Association, bringing neighbors, families, city officials, and the mayor together for a shared cultural experience. Now hosted two years in a row and counting, the celebration was designed to make Diwali feel welcoming and interactive for guests of every background through music, dance, games, and festive connection.

Led interactive music and dance moments that encouraged the full community to participate, move, and celebrate together
Designed Diwali-inspired games for kids and adults to help guests mingle, connect, and enjoy the festivities
Extended this approach to other community and cultural celebrations, including Indian Independence Day and heritage-focused gatherings
